Dance Program

 We are so excited to announce that we have been working really hard to create the ultimate Pre-School aged dance programs called JIGSAW JNR.

When we dance & sing it stimulates our whole brain, as does using props, creative drama games and moving to music. It lifts mood and brings joy releasing endorphins.

Our new Jigsaw Jr Dance Program incorporates all these elements combining dance, drama, games, props …but most of all, lots of fun and laughter. This program has been specifically developed to enhance strength, flexibility, co-ordination & dance technique.

During our classes we jump, hop, stamp, point, roll, fly, sing, laugh out loud and grow into plants reaching towards the sun.  We use hula hoop, fairy wands, scalves, balls and much, much more. We encourage creative thinking and individual ideas while our children get to feel a sense of pride, confidence & fun and most importantly feel like the most important dancer in the room.

I have been teaching this age group for over 20yrs and I still get such a thrill seeing their eyes light-up with excitement and enthusiasm (don’t tell anyone, but they are my favourite ages to teach)

The other teachers who teach this program with me, have been hand selected and trained not only in the curriculum but how to engage and involve every single dancer in the room. This is just SO important to me as I expect our weekly meeting with our dancers to be an amazing and positive experience EVERY week.

I know the impact that we are privileged to have in the lives of our Jigsaw Jnr’s and this is why I am so passionate about it!

We will be running free trial classes in December and encourage anyone who thinks they may be interested to come along and try. Mum’s/Dad’s/Nan’s/Pa’s are also encouraged to come and have a look at what we do.

Class sizes are capped so if you register for a class that is full, you will go on a waiting list and I will contact you as soon as a position becomes available.

After your free trial lesson in December, we will be offering a special gift for anyone who registers for classes for 2015 before December 31st December, your dancer will receive their very own Jigsaw Sticker Book and 50% off the registration fee ($15).

We will be taking bookings for our free trial classes, so please email me so I can reserve a spot for you (and as many friend as you want to bring along!)

All our Jigsaw Jnr classes are 30 minutes offered to little ones not yet at school. We are offering mornings, afternoons and Saturday mornings.

Jigsaw Jnr Jazz:

These classes are fun and energy filled including basic movement, co-ordination, singing and drama to familiar music. It gives children a chance to develop their ear for music and feet for dancing, starting at the age most crucial.

Jigsaw Jnr Ballet:

These classes have the same fun and energy of our Jazz classes but also incorporates the beginnings of ballet techniques allowing a gentle introduction to the world of tippy toes and twirls. I also believe in using the correct ‘French’ ballet names for steps and movements – so I have classes of 2-5yr olds speaking French to me each week!

Jigsaw Jnr JFH/Hip Hop:

These classes use funky music and hip moves giving our dancers an introduction to modern moves and techniques
