So proud of Harrison LEE who danced with us at Jigsaw Dance in his very early days. He has certainly gone onto bigger and more wonderful accomplishments. Clearly great genetics from mum and dad…… congratulations and best of luck in the future.

Harrison has been training at the Jigsaw Dance HQ venue at Castle Hill over the past few week end to perfect his skills for upcoming events and competitions.

At just 13 Harrison Lee of Castle Hill has moved one step closer to achieving his dream of becoming a classical ballet dancer.

He was recently judged the most outstanding dancer in the Isobel Anderson Award for the second time in Sydney and gained the first prize in the Alana Haines Australasia (AHA) Awards in New Zealand.

His mother, Cindy Lee, said the prize money was $1500 for the first competition and $3000 plus a scholarship to the Royal Ballet School London summer school for the second.

She will be taking her son to the summer school in July.

The Alana Haines Trust was set up in 1990 by Greg and Katie Haines (both former dancers with the New Zealand Ballet Company) in memory of their 11-year-old daughter Alana.

‘‘ Harrison’s dream is to one day dance in the Royal Ballet,’’ she said.
